If this is your first attempt at a flash game it's not a bad try. The firing swoosh noise works well, and the controls work well. Like others have said though you need to put more effort in, espcially your the menus. Once you finish the game it all goes really pants and buggy. I clicked to play again, but just got whiteness.
Also, maybe you'd like to try making the dragons flap their wings? Making different dragons have different movement paths might make it more interesting too. Infact there's loads more you could do.
I think the sounds and choice of phrases are aces. Only two things I would say to improve it are:
1. I agree with XionGlydus, it's a shame it looks so shabby.
2. Maybe (just maybe) there's room to stack up phrases and play them one after another....hmm, and maybe some explosion noises and such would work if that were the case too.
All in all quite amusing.
I quite liked this, not sure it's a game..infact if you could somehow combine this kind of thing into a game that would be damn cool. Not sure how you'd do that though.
Maybe you could make it more interesting (or at least less of a chore) by adding in some sounds and or music. The easiest example is the ghost image, why not add some ambient music while staring at the ghost, then on the grave yard and some screams or stuff...like a haunted house?
All in all I think this shows some promise and I'd like to see what improvements you come up with for part 2.
Thanks for the nice review. I'll definitely look into that.
